Tapered cork is a natural, elastic material used as a bottle stopper or for other applications. It can be cut to fit various-sized openings and provides a tight seal due to its elasticity. To use, measure the inside diameter of the opening, and select a cork with a smaller bottom diameter but enough to insert half the cork. Other uses include laboratory and food packaging, arts and crafts, and filling holes in walls and ceilings.
