    • Ale yeast: Ale yeast is used to make a wide variety of beers, from pale ales to stouts. It is characterized by its fruity and spicy flavors. Ale yeasts ferment at warmer temperatures, typically between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Lager yeast: Lager yeast is used to make beers that are typically lighter and crisper than ales. It is characterized by its clean and refreshing flavors. Lager yeasts ferment at cooler temperatures, typically between 45 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Cream ale yeast: Cream ale yeast is a hybrid of ale and lager yeasts. It is used to make beers that are smooth and easy to drink. Cream ale yeasts can ferment at a range of temperatures, but they typically ferment at cooler temperatures, similar to lager yeasts
    • Wheat ale yeast: Wheat ale yeast is used to make beers that are cloudy and have a bready flavor. Wheat ale yeasts are typically used in conjunction with ale yeasts.
